We are OPEN! Here’s what we ask of you:
The coronavirus pandemic has brought changes to our day-to-day life, and at Complete Rehabilitation we are doing our best to stay up-to-date on current CDC and government guidelines to direct our office procedures.
As of March 20, 2020, Governor Pritzker made an Executive Order to “Stay at Home,” in hopes to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19. The Executive Order asks all “non-essential” business and group gatherings to close. However, “essential business” categories, such as Hospitals, Clinics, and Healthcare Operations are allowed to remain open.
Complete Rehabilitation will remain open for the time being. Our role is to be an essential resource to patients experiencing acute neuromusculoskeletal symptoms (pain, numbness, tingling, overt weakness, progressing joint pain, etc). We serve to help those who are in pain limit their exposure to the virus and wait times at their Primary Care Provider’s office, Immediate Care facility, or Emergency Room. We hope patients use our facility as hospitals may experience higher case loads and become overstretched in their time and resources.
Extra precautions we are taking to protect all our patients and our staff from exposure to the virus include: we ask that adults come to their appointments alone; we ask that minors come with only one chaperone; and we are cleaning before and after patient visits. If you are concerned that you are experiencing symptoms of the virus, visit the COVID-19 symptom screen created by the Emory University emergency medicine department. We hope you utilize it before making an appointment at our clinic.
We are also working on providing telehealth services to serve patients that either can’t get to the office, or have concerns about leaving their house. Our hope and expectation is to have that system up and running by early next week.
We thank you for all your support through this tough time. Stay safe, stay active, and wash your hands.
