Dr. Amaro grew up in a loving Mexican home in West Chicago where she attended West Chicago Community High School. She was the first in her family to work towards and graduate with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science at Bradley University. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Amaro worked as a rehab technician at a subacute clinic where she was encouraged by a nurse to pursue chiropractic medicine. Dr. Amaro earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences. She is currently a resident at West Chicago, IL. In her spare time, Dr. Amaro enjoys spending time with family/friends, at the gym, and playing soccer.
Dr. Amaro is certified in Acupuncture and the McKenzie Method to incorporate in her treatment approach. As a former board member of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), she advocated for patient accessibility on Capitol Hill to help make a difference in the local and national community.
Dr. Amaro helps people continue to do what they love, and supports their active health goals through a tailored treatment plan. Her goal is to not only provide immediate relief, but provide guidance towards optimal health. She looks forward to serving the community and expanding support to the Latinx community.
